Are you looking for a relaxing holiday amidst the wonderful rolling countryside of south west France?

 La Petite Hitere is a restored farmhouse with accommodation for 8 people. It provides an ideal getaway but plenty of local interest. 

 

 

This lovely old farmhouse enjoys a position amongst vineyards and sunflower fields.  The house was once part of the wine producing farm near by.  It has a large secluded garden with oak trees and is flanked by woods and a grazing meadow.  A beautiful and typical dovecote has bee restored and transformed into an outside shower area.  A splash pool is situated in the garden and there is a BBQ. There are many possibilities for alfresco dining including the lovely interior courtyard.

 

 

The property has easy access to Aignan, Nogaro and Eauze for restaurants, shops and markets. Eauze boasts the best market in Gascony (Thursdays).  Hidden in the Aignan Woods, close to La Petite Hitere, is a large lake with a supervised swimming area and a ‘sandy beach’ for adults and children. For those wishing to travel further a field, the Pyrenees Mountains, the Atlantic coast and even Spain are possible as long day trips.
